Kita Stoeger

Writing children's books has been a lifelong dream of mine. With the encouragement of my husband, friends and family, I finally built up the courage to expose my inner child on paper...right out there where everyone can see it.

 

Precious Pink came to life when my 7 year-old daughter, Mikaila (AKA Pixie), asked me to make up a bedtime story about the color pink. She loved the character and her adventures so much that she begged me to write it down. Together we came up with ideas for the book, and went to her classmates for help when we got stuck.

 

My husband, Ben Stoeger, has written several books for the sport of pistol shooting, so I have some catching up to do!  Book 2 is underway, and will be released in 2016!
